I was raised on a small farm in Central Wisconsin. Growing up, I spent a great deal of time enjoying the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Much of my appreciation was learned from spending time with my grandfather, who spent his life actually living off the land. Thankfully with these opportunities growing up, I have learned to truly love nature and spending time in the outdoors.

I started with 4-Rivers Realty in 1998 as a salesman specializing in the sale of recreational land. During the last several years I have spent my time helping people achieve their dream of owning recreational land, and having a place for their family to escape the distractions of everyday life. During this time I've gained a lot of experience helping people with their questions about buying recreational property, and in turn have learned how to make this a very simple and enjoyable experience. One of the main reasons for my success is the support of Secluded Land Company, which provides me with exceptional property that we guarantee to stand by before, during, and after the sale!

During the last 8 years I've achieved a brokers status in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Currently I am the managing broker at the Sundown Lake office of 4-Rivers Realty in Southern Iowa. My duties here include the development, preparation, advertising, and sale of the many beautiful lakefront and a lake access properties. Since our office is on site at the lake, I have been able to personally oversee all aspects of this development. This has allowed me to help many people find their dream vacation and retirement properties!

I have truly been blessed with a job in which I can offer the great experiences of the outdoors to people both young and old. One of the greatest rewards of working in the recreational land business is knowing the difference I will make in many peoples lives. My goal is to help create memories, and to build an appreciation for nature that will be passed on for generations! I look forward to helping you with your own dreams of owning a place that you and your family can enjoy for years to come!

Our company was originally started in the early 70's by two gentlemen that discovered our area during a hunting trip. They absolutely fell in love with the area, and bought a few larger chunks of property. They couldn't believe the fact that a person could purchase property that was so secluded and beautiful. Well they soon discovered that they weren't alone in their passion for the outdoors, and soon after started their own land company.

Since then our company has expanded too many new areas, but one thing hasn't changed, our dedication to offer the best recreational land available! Along with best land available we pride ourselves on offering the best service in the industry. Secluded Land Company and 4-Rivers Realty offers several guarantees that most real estate company wouldn't dream of providing their customers.

First of all we guarantee all of our properties are buildable, which means you will be able to build a home on your properties and be able to get all of the necessary permits. Second we guarantee that power and road access will be provided. Also you will be able to have potable water on your property, and you are guaranteed to be able to install a state approved sanitary system on your property. Finally all of our properties will be surveyed and you will be free and clear of liens or encumbrances.

Finally we have a great customer service department, so we are able to help customer with any issues that may arise before, during, and after the sale.

Fortunately through the years we've been able to establish some great relationships with several different financial institutions that will finance vacant land and also provide very competitive rates.

The one thing that most people have really enjoyed is how easy financing can be when they find the right institution.  Also many people are surprised by how low the rates are for financing vacant land.  With a good credit score it is possible to finance vacant land for as little as no money down for 30 years!   In fact, many people that were planning on paying cash choose to finance a portion of their land because it makes sense to do so!

From there you can explore the many different forms of financing and choose the one that fits your specific needs. Of course you are always welcome to use your own institutions, however many people really like having the option of comparing different banks, and seeing what they have to offer.
